Our Bus RE-Manufacturing - Mechanical Process
1. Service Fluids
To ensure every bus performs to its maximum abilities, all fluids are changed.
2. Change All Filters
When changing the fluids on each bus we also change all filters.
3. Service Belts & Hoses
All belts and hoses are inspected and replaced if not to TBC's Standard. The engine belts are very crucial to the engines performance. We also inspect all engine and rear bus heat & coolant hoses and replace if not to TBC's Standard. Hoses can be just as important as the engine belts. This includes any shut off valves to auxiliary units.
4. Brakes & Rotors
All brakes and rotors must meet our strict tolerance levels. If the brake pads do not have 90% or better pad life they will be replaced with new. All brake drums and rotors are checked for thickness and trueness. If rotors are warped or too thin, they are turned or replaced.
5. Tires
All buses at TBC receive new 10 ply tires. After a certain amount of improper road wear a tire can not be corrected. New Tires improve the ride, comfort and safety of every bus.
6. Simulators / Wheel Covers
Along with the new tires every bus receives a new set of high polished stainless steel wheel simulators. Sometimes they are called Wheel Covers
7. Alignment
After every set of new tires and front end servicing the buses receive a fresh front end alignment. This guarantees the bus drives like new and will get the maximum life out of the new tires.
