Limited Powertrain Warranty5 Months / 5,000 Miles Protection PlanFREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS What Does This Warranty Cover?Engine Internally Lubricated Parts CoverageAll internally lubricated parts include only: pistons, piston rings, piston pins, crankshaft and main bearings, connecting rods and bearings, camshaft and bearings, timing chain or belt, timing gears, intake and exhaust valves, valve springs, valve guides, oil pump, push rods, rocker arms, rocker arm shafts, hydraulic and solid lifters;. The engine block and heads are also covered if damage is caused only by a failure of any of the above covered components. The Engine block and heads are NOT covered in the situation the engine overheats due to water pump failure, bad head gasket, or faulty coolant hoses. Covered engine components may be void if engine is operated with any fluids below reccommended levels or without proper oil maintenance. Engine Water Pump CoverageImpeller shaft, bearings, bushings and housing. Engine water pump coverage is limited to 50 percent parts & labor. Water pump will not be covered due to any leaking seals or gaskets. Any engine damage done because of water pump failure may NOT be covered. Engine block and heads will NOT be covered due to overheating or loss of coolant. Automatic Transmission CoverageAll internally lubricated parts include only: Gears, input and output shafts, bearings, front pump, planetary assembly, sprags, governor assembly, valve body, torque converter, overdrive carrier, reaction carrier, center support, parking lock actuator, stator and stator shaft, separator plate, pressure regulator valve. Coverage may be void if transmission is operated low or without proper fluid maintenance. Coverage does NOT include leaking seals or gaskets. Drive Axle Assembly CoverageAll driveline parts include only: Drive shaft bearing, ring/pinion gears, pinion bearings, side carrier bearings, carrier assembly, thrust washers, axle, axle bearings, universal joints. Coverage may be void if unit is run low or without fluid. Coverage does NOT include leaking seals or gaskets. When repairing your vehicle, new or remanufactured parts may be used. What Does This Warranty Not Cover?Poor or Improper Maintenance: Damaged caused by poor or improper maintenance will not be covered. This includes abuse or negligence and misuse – for example, over heating as a result of continued driving with damaged parts, alteration of vehicle, use of contaminated or poor quality fuel, not properly maintaining vehicle, etc. Covered part damaged by a noncovered component will not be covered. Vehicles damaged by fire or accident will not be covered. You are responsible for contacting our Claims Administrator as soon as a problem exists. Delayed contact may inhibit our ability to cover your claims. Any work performed or parts purchased before consulting the claims administrator will not be covered. All claims must be approved by your claims administrator or they will not be covered. Incidental and Consequential Damages Not Covered: Your warranty does not cover any incidental or consequential damages connected with your vehicle’s failure, either under warranty or afterward. What is the Period of Coverage?Begins: Vehicles will be covered from the date balance is paid in full. What Will We Do to Correct Problems?If a problem arises, please call our Claims Administrator immediately to receive repair authorization for all covered repairs. We will guide you in how to present your vehicle for proper claims repair. This may include an authorized facility in your local area, or bringing the bus back to our facility for repairs.
